Allison Jacks (She/Her) is a body positive movement educator, international choreographer, and food enthusiast.
I’m Allison Jacks, my pronouns are she/her. I’m a woman born in Asuncion, Paraguay. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and spent my 20s in the Pacific Northwest between Seattle and Portland, diving into various scenes and energies of art and community. I’m a creative who focuses on movement, dance, food, interaction and experience. I am a body positive movement educator and international choreographer. I’m a food enthusiast, creating installations for those who crave a communal meal, to recognize the art behind the history, in relation to production but also in relation to humans + to simply enjoy art that feeds you. There is a deep correlation to movement + food + digestion, I believe my passions derive from this connection. I’m inspired by health, and the many ways it is interpreted and explored and finding that all of those ways are necessary for every one and every body to take up space unapologetically. My focus + interest lies in gathering elements to curate an experience for those who are open to it. If you let process generate purpose, you will create forever.
